Storytime at The Met Cloisters

Free with Museum admission; admission is pay as you wish for New York state residents, and is free for children under 12 with an adult.

Look, listen, sing, and have fun with Storytime! Join Met educators and partners from Literacy INC every Tuesday for picture-book readings in English and Spanish connected to objects in the The Met Cloisters collection and to our uptown community. Recommended for families with children ages 18 months to 6 years.

Participants will receive a free book with onsite registration, generously provided by Literacy INC.

Free with Museum admission; admission is pay as you wish for New York state residents, and free for children under 12 with an adult. Note: Space is limited; first come, first served.

Masks are strongly recommended. See our visitor guidelines.

Assistive listening devices are provided in the gallery where the program begins. Assistive listening devices with headsets or neck loops are available from the Admissions Desk in the Main Hall. We encourage you to bring your own headphones.
